38 Parrots

22.04.2015 - 16.05.2015

The architect Inna Šablovska says:

The artworks for the exhibition “38 Parrots” were created during the last two years and have been selected from my creative sketchbook. The exhibition presents watercolors of joyful and vivid parrots using them to depict the unusual time spans between crises. Parrots were a natural choice as they are the most colorful of birds, are long-lived and are able to mimic almost everything. Each of the 38 parrots appearing in this exhibition represents a human counterpart as well as reflect my moods in the last two years. The exhibition is intended to be an architect’s dialogue with viewers, a bit mysterious and at the same time inspiring and to delight the viewers.
