On May 7, three Art Academy students of the first study year Madara Neikena, Krista Dzudzilo and Jānis Svars were awarded Boriss Bērziņš’ scholarship that will be paid for a year, till the next spring drawing assessment at the Art Academy. The scholarship was awarded for the drawings that were exhibited at the assessment show. The winners were selected by the profesors of the Drawing Department of Art Academy and the Department Head prof.Edvīns Kalnenieks and the Gallery Daugava. The scholarship is funded by the businessman Guntis Rāvis.
