The sunny summer and influential exhibition “Swimmers” in Latvian National Museum of Art, inspired the exhibition “Figure”. Every artists conceives it differently — beautiful outline, plastic, proportions.
Ilona Biezaite with her bronze shark that also has a figure, and she gracefully demonstrates it. Body shapes inspired Elina Poikane (Elīna Poikāne). On the exhibition invitations are displayed Franceska Kirke (Frančeska Kirke) variations of “The Three Graces” by Rubens, however, there are figures with “problems” and their causes has found Aivars Vilipsons (“Hamburgers”).
